Mystery tour here:
Updated proposed itinerary:
What works best with tours of this nature, is to do the Vatican Museums in
the morning. This would be 3 hours. This tour would include - Michelangelo'S
Sistine Chapel masterpiece-St Peters Basilica -Vatican Museums (Gallery of Maps,
Raphael Tapestry Gallery, Tombs and much more) That way, before lunchtime we
will have covered the entire Vatican City. There are many places nearby that we
could stop for lunch, before moving on to the monuments of Rome.
We do have a particular place in mind that would be a great place for you to
stop and have lunch. A set menu might be an idea with such a large group. I
think this would be a good idea. We can work something out with the owner, and
email you the menu. This will be less expensive, and also with such a large
group, this will save you time too. We are happy to arrange all this for
you.
The driver will take us to the Castel Sant Angelo, the Coliseum, the Roman
Forums (unmissable!), Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, and then
we will return back to the Trevi fountain.
The monuments would be a good way to spend the latter part of the day. It's
more relaxed, we can stop and take photos with the group, and also sample the
most delicious ice cream right by the Pantheon.
I would say that you need 8 hours to really make the most of the Rome
experience.
If you decided that you wanted to include the Vatican Museums, we will be
equipped with the benefit of a microphone and you will be wearing headsets, for
the Vatican MuseumTour, so that everyone will be able to enjoy it and make the
most of the museum experience.
If you do not want to enter the museums, then we would simply drive by St Peters
Square. We could also, as a group, go inside St Peters Church. It's the largest
church in the world, including Michelangelo's 'Pieta', the only work signed by
Michelangelo, one of the most visited works of art in the world. I would
recommend that we do the Museums before we enter the church, because I do have
access, as a Guide, directly into the Basilica, without waiting in the security
line, if we do the route of the Museums beforehand.
I did my Bachelor of Arts and MA in Art History, specializing in Michelangelo,
and the Italian Renaissance. It's a great experience for you to take a tour with
someone who has actually studied all of these works. We would also be able to
see the Raphael rooms inside the museums. There's so much more too in the
museum, and we would cover all the highlights of the
Vatican at a good pace.
Tickets for the Vatican Museums are not included in the price. Tickets are 13
euros each (8 euros with a Student card), this covers all of the Vatican
Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St Peters Basilica.

At night there is this:
http://www.angeltoursrome.com/en/tours.htm
FREE Tour of the Pantheon
It meets each day on the front steps of the Pantheon at 7pm.
To the angels who work with angel tours, the Pantheon is the most important of
the ancient Temples in Rome. Many people don't realize what it actually is. We
do a walking tour of the Pantheon. It takes about 30 minutes and is FREE. It
takes you through the entire span of Rome's history, it unites in a special way
pagan Rome and Christian Rome. It is given by a native English speaker and tells
stories about Raphael, Michelangelo, Mark Antony and Cleopatra, Popes and
Emperors, the kings of Italy.
If you enjoy your tour, please feel free to tip your guide! Thanks!
Or perhaps a night walking tour from one of the tour books.
