Be introduced to the beauty of Granada, an ancient city that
preserves the architectonic of the Arab invasion. On this
excursion you will:
- After leaving Málaga, your motor coach will take the highway
to Granada, passing by Casa Bermeja.
- Take the road that climbs the mountain pass, Las Pedrizas,
before reaching the town of Loja where there will be a short
stop before continuing to Santa Fe, just a few kilometers
outside Granada.
- Learn that after being invaded by the Arabs in the 8th
century, Granada was the last Muslim city to fall to the
Christian Kings in 1492 and reached its peak of splendor after
the fall of the Caliph of Córdoba during the 11th century.
- To say ‘Granada’ is to say El Alhambra, referring to the
world famous fortified palace built of red stone and often
referred to as the "Red Palace".

Discover the Arabian Palace, heart of the Alhambra, is
divided into three enclosures: one dedicated to dispensing
matters of administration and justice; the Arrayanes courtyard
with the throne room used for official purposes and the
Courtyard of the Lions, which contained the private residence of
the king.

Experience the richness and beauty of Arabian architecture
as you visit the Alhambra, before continuing to the Generalife,
the summer palace of the Arab kings, surrounded by splendid
gardens and innumerable fountains.
- Enjoy lunch followed by a panoramic tour of the city of
Granada before returning to Malaga.
