The rugged Montserrat Mountain range northwest of Barcelona is one
of Spain's most picturesque areas.
On this fascinating excursion you will:
NOTE: October 12th, 09 is a Public Holiday. Therefore, all areas
will be busy and some shops and restaurants may be closed. Some
souvenir shops will be open. This excursion may operate in reverse. Comfortable shoes, water, a light jacket and a sun hat are recommended. There are downhill and uneven paths, as well as cobblestones to walk over. The Boy's Choir can not be seen on Saturdays or during the months of July and August and may be cancelled at any time due to reasons beyond our control. Montserrat is at 2,380 feet and therefore a light jacket and appropriate clothes are recommended. At the end of your excursion you will have the option to be dropped off at the bottom of Las Ramblas for shopping. A free shuttle bus is provided to take you back to the ship. Expect long lines to view the Black Virgin inside the Abbey. |
